Four Forces

Applied Force - a pull or a push caused by a person or object. An example is when you push a toy car you pull it back and forth to make it move.

Gravitational Force - A force attracting two objects. An example is if you throw a ball upp gravity pulls it back down.

Normal Force - A force from a surface (usually pushing up). An example is when your sitting you have a normal force.

Tension Force - A pulling force, usually in a string, a rope, or a chain. An example is if you tie an object with rope and then you pulling it.
