Vectors & Scalar

Vector quantity is quantity with direction and magnitude. Scalar quantity is a quantity with magnitude only. Vector quantity is used to show is used for force, acceleration, velocity, and other items that need to show a magnitude and direction. And scalar is a quantity with only magnitude or size.

Example of a scalar quantity is time because it only shows a magnitude or an amount.

Example of a vector quantity is velocity because velocity is speed with a direction and it includes an amount.
